Tomorrow's Ghosts Alternative Market at the Pavilion 10:00 till 17:00 Friday 26th - Sunday 28th April 2019

The Dark Days Market will be hosted in the Pavilion from 10:00 til 16:00 Friday to Sunday with a wide range of stalls providing alternative clothing, jewellery and art as well as a some more unusual and tantalising finds. Classic horror cinema and presentations will take place over the weekend and the bar and cafe will be open for refreshments.

Tomorrow's Ghosts Festival

Tomorrows Ghosts Festival will run concurrently with many other events across the town on 26th-28th April and 1st-3rd November, with Scarborough Borough Council supporting these dates as the official Goth Festival for the town. Other events on these weekends include the long running Marquee Masquerade, Sexy Sunday and Manic Monday events at The Met Ballroom as well as other markets around the town.

April's Tomorrow's Ghosts Festival will see alternative rockers Pop Will Eat Itself headline the Friday whilst New Model Army will headline the Saturday night. Other bands playing including Chameleons Vox (formerly The Chameleons), Christine Plays Viola and Terminal Gods.

There will be film screenings of horror classics in the Pavilion Theatre across the weekend along with an alternative market of unusual stalls. On Sunday there will be a very special event comprising, 'Hammer Glamour – the Women of Horror' and 'The Secrets of Dracula with Dacre Stoker'. This will featuring the female stars of Hammer Horror classics; Pauline Pert (CUBA, CARRY ON GIRLS THE SATANIC RIGHTS OF DRACULA), Maddie Smith (THE VAMPIRE LOVERS, TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA, FRANKENSTEIN AND THE MONSTER FROM HELL, THEATRE OF BLOOD, LIVE AND LET DIE, Caroline Munro (DRACULA AD1972, CAPTAIN KRONOS:VAMPIRE HUNTER, THE LAST HORROR FILM, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD, VAMPYRES) AND MARTINE BESWICK (DR JEKYLL & SISTER HYDE, PREHISTORIC WOMEN, THUNDERBALL, ONE MILLION YEARS B.C, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE) and will be hosted by best-selling author Dacre Stoker (Nephew of Bram Stoker). Dacre will then present his 'Secrets of Dracula' which provides a unique insight into both the classic book and Bram's life which has inspired Dacre's prequal to Dracula 'Dracul'.

HAMMER GLAMOUR - Women Of Horror

Join the stars of the classic Hammer Horror films for an afternoon of stories from behind the scenes, Caroline Munro, Valerie Leon, Martine Beswick and Pauline Peart will be appearing in person for discussion, classic films clips and Q&A. There will be a meet & greet and signings after the event.

DACRE STOKER'S Secrets Of Dracula

Best selling author (Dracula The Un-Dead, The Forgotten Writings Of Bram Stoker and Dracul), Dracula historian and great grand nephew of Bram Stoker; Dacre Stoker returns to Whitby to unveil the latest twists to the Dracula story. If you are a fan of Dracula, and have not seen Dacre before, then is a MUST SEE!!!

Dacre presents clips and discusses his unique insight into Bram's inspiration and will be hosting a Q&A.

EVENT DETAILS

This event runs from 1pm with an interval inbetween. The theatre bar will be open before and after the show and the meet & greets will be held afterwards in the the theatre bar area.
