Following the publication of the nominations for the up and coming local elections Whitby Town Council have had 15 of the 19 seats fill unopposed. As the following 4 seats were not contested they should be available for co-option after the 14th May 2019 in the following wards:-

Whitby Defibrillator Project would like to say a big thank you to the people and businesses of Whitby who have helped to buy and set up a network of 19 defibrillators in just a year. An amazing achievement.
The WDP would now like to set up a defibrillator maintenance fund as well as buying some more units to cover housing estates in Whitby.
