Mr Michael King has started work today as the new Town Clerk for Whitby Town Council and is welcomed by Councillors and staff on an unusual first day. Mr King is replacing the current Town Clerk, Pam Dobson who is retiring at the end of June after nearly 11 years. Whitby Town Council have implemented a business continuity plan which will allow administrative staff to work from home during the current crisis. In light of the latest government advice we will be taking a number of measures over the next few days to protect employees, councillors, and visitors as much as reasonably practicable to do so.
