The Government has launched a consultation on local government reorganisation in North Yorkshire which could lead to the county and district councils being replaced by one or two new unitary councils.
As there is no independent evaluation of the proposals, comments need to be based on the separate documents developed by North Yorkshire County Council and districts including Scarborough Borough Council.... Read More »
