Consultation on the future Cemeteries provision across the Borough
Based on current burial rates and number of available burials plots, it is estimated that the three cemeteries sites across the Borough Larpool cemetery in Whitby, Woodlands cemetery in Scarborough and Lawns cemetery in Filey will reach full capacity in the next four to six years.

Bilsdale Mast: Project Restore is an initiative led by Arqiva in response to the fire at Bilsdale Mast on 10 August 2021.

Changes to demand responsive shopper bus services DR10 and DR18
Demand responsive shopper bus services DR10 and DR18 will be run by NYCC Fleet Services from 1 September, whilst a new operator is sought.
The current operator, Whitby District Community Transport will cease from 31 August 2021.
The affected services, which run on alternate Thursdays, are:
o DR10 Westerdale to Whitby
o DR18 Glaisdale to Guisborough
